As a Senior Loan Officer, Paula brings over 20 years of experience in residential mortgage lending, with an impressive resume. In 2016, she was awarded Affiliate of the Year for the Strafford County Board of REALTORS and added Affiliate of the Year for the Seacoast Board of REALTORS in 2017. With previous employers, Paula had been a member of both the President’s Club and Chairman’s Club and she’s well on her way to achieving those goals at Embrace!
Paula is passionate about lending, doing the right thing for her customers, and making certain her loans close smoothly and on time. She has a well-rounded knowledge of what is needed to get the loan closed and was the exclusive Loan Officer for the City of Portsmouth Hometown Program for six years. Paula has also been a volunteer speaker for the HUD Certificate program offered to first-time home buyers with the Housing Partnership in Portsmouth. Through this program, she has helped many home buyers fulfill their dreams of home ownership.
Outside of work, Paula is very involved in the community. As a member of both the Strafford County Board of REALTORS and the Seacoast Board of REALTORS, she has helped with many events that give back to the community including chairing a charity golf event that raised over $40,000 for local charities and scholarships; volunteering time at her local food pantry and soup kitchen; She chaired annual events For Gather, (formerly Seacoast Family Food Pantry) that collected over 15,000 pounds of food, along with over $6,000 in grocery gift cards and cash. In addition, for the last five years, she has chaired a food drive in Strafford County that helped to fill the shelves in 12 more food pantries. For Helping Hands, Paula sews blankets for the homeless, and sews and crochets baby blankets that go to Doctors Without Borders, as well as to Boston Hospitals, to be given to families with newborns in need. Besides being an overall top performer in mortgage lending and volunteering, Paula is a former chef of twenty years and holds an Associates of Science Degree in Culinary Arts as a trained chef from Johnson and Wales University.
