We were originally working with Austin and out of the blue received note that he had left the company. No texts, phone calls, prior messaging about his departure, which left a bad taste in our mouth as were were left in the dark with no communications. Luckily, Sam Nixon came in and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful through the remainder of the process. Through working with the underwriting and additional support teams, we felt as if communication was a bit all over, and left us questioning as several minor mistakes were made. It didn't feel as if the communication flow was strong. There were simple military-focused topics that we felt like the team didn't have the tightest grasp on. I'm not sure if Embrace doesn't work with a lot of military or just a new staff, but it was something we noticed. I think Sam was the overall node that brought the rating to good due to his attentiveness and responsiveness.
